Senior Pastor Murray Flemming is a devoted servant of God and family man who loves and ministers to the people of God. Elder Flemming was baptized in Jesusí name and filled with the Holy Spirit in 1987, at the Apostolic Church of God (ACOG) in Chicago, where Bishop Arthur M. Brazier was the Pastor and now his son, Dr. Byron Brazier is the pastor. He received his call to the Ministry in 1990, and has been teaching since 1993.
Elder Flemming served in various capacities at ACOG. He was Superintendent of the adult Sunday School Department, Founding Director of the Young Brothers for Christ (18 Years), the ACOG Menís Discipleship Team, ACOG Menís Leadership Team, F.O.C.U.S. Ministry Instructor and Covenant Partners Marriage Instructor. In 2011 Pastor Flemming was invited as guest speaker for the Young Brothersí for Christ 20th Anniversary where he was bestowed the prestigious honor and installation of the Murray Flemming Scholarship Award.
Elder Flemming is the founding Pastor of Redeeming Love Apostolic Church, which started in 2007. God is tremendously blessing RLAC as a viable entity throughout the community and in each of the lives of its members. RLAC partners with the Parents Assistance Agency South Suburbs P.A.S.S. where Elder Flemming currently sits as a board member and spiritual advisor.
Elder Flemming is ordained in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (P.A.W.) since 1997. RLAC has recently joined the Victory Association (a non-denominational organization) under the founding leadership of Pastor Andrew Singleton.
Elder Flemming holds an ordained license with the P.A.W. along with several certificates from Moody Bible Institution and Aenon Bible College where he studied for four years.
Most of all, Elder Flemming cherishes his wife of 25 years, Amelia, who has a Bachelorís Degree in Psychology, and their three adult children Natasha, Tracey, and Carl, (adolescent daughter JaNaiya) all of whom are saved, serve in the church and have completed their college degrees. They have also been blessed with five wonderful grandchildren.
