José, a native of Caracas, Venezuela, moved to North Carolina in 2017 to pursue new opportunities. Educated at José María Vargas University in Caracas, he holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a major in Tax Management. His commitment to professional development led him to obtain diplomas in multiple areas, including internal audit, taxes, management, financial, and international business. Armed with these skills, José has successfully navigated various roles in both local government and the private sector.
Educated at Jose Maria Vargas University, Caracas, Jose holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in Tax Management. His continuous quest for professional growth led him to complete a series of diplomas in various disciplines, including internal audit, taxes, management, financial, and international business. Leveraging his robust skill set, he thrived in diverse roles within both local government and the private sector in Venezuela.
Upon his arrival in North Carolina, the urge to contribute positively to his new community led Jose to become actively involved with THE LIBRE INITIATIVE as a volunteer activist. Recognizing his dedication and leadership skills, the organization soon promoted him to a Grassroots Associate. He currently serves as the Grassroots Engagement Director, with a particular focus on working with the Raleigh Latin Chamber of Commerce and many other organizations such as companies and nonprofits, to advance freedom and entrepreneurial opportunities within the Hispanic Community of North Carolina.
Jose’s role involves liaising between the Chamber of Commerce and grassroots organizations, developing programs that empower local businesses, and advocating for policies that promote free markets and individual liberties. His work is underpinned by the belief that a thriving commerce sector is crucial for the overall well-being of the community.
Jose lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he also serves as the President founder of the Raleigh Latin Chamber of Commerce. He is happily married to Ivette, and they are proud parents of their children, Zara, Aaron, and Abraham.
