Born and raised in vibrant Mexico City, Gabriel is a proud graduate of the prestigious Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science. His academic journey was deeply rooted in mathematical modeling and applied mathematics, with a keen focus on the banking industry.

With over 15 years of experience spanning risk management, control, audit, and financial analysis, Gabriel has proven himself as a leader and innovator. His career highlights include spearheading major projects for one of the largest Swiss banks, facilitating its expansion into North Carolina in 2015. Gabriel’s expertise has consistently driven success, guiding teams to achieve excellence in complex financial landscapes.

Gabriel’s commitment to education is unwavering. He spent several years teaching Financial Mathematics and leading study groups in Mexico, empowering aspiring actuaries to excel in their Society of Actuaries exams. His dedication to nurturing talent has left a lasting impact on the actuarial community.

Beyond his financial acumen, Gabriel is a passionate artist and musician. He actively contributed to the arts as the Treasurer for Arts Together, a renowned 501(c)(3) organization, from 2020 to 2024. His involvement in the arts underscores his belief in the power of creativity and community engagement.

Recently, Gabriel has channeled his expertise into the realm of human development. He has been instrumental in integrating neurobiology and financial education into programs designed to enhance community resilience and foster success in both business and personal endeavors.
